It would have been nice
to be in attendance at the Wave Books Three Days of Poetry event, which happened this past weekend in Seattle. I’m positive that a lot of amazing and hilarious and super groovy things went down, over there across the land in the Skyspace.
But I do feel much better about missing out, now that I’ve read these posts on Lisp Service, Evelyn Hampton’s blog. She’s done a wonderful job of recounting the experience of going to a reading: how the mind wanders, what the memory retains, and how you start to think about poets once you’ve been in the same line for coffee.
