Fence runs on revenue from the sales of our books and magazines and the generous support of our membership. In joining Fence, you provide our authors with your readership and fiscal support; Fence, in turn, shows you what’s happening in nonconforming literature selected almost entirely from general submissions.
Help Fence reach our 2022 goals:
*To continue to expand access to, and awareness of, nonconforming literature inside and outside of in-the-know literary communities (https://www.fenceportal.org/about-fence/)
*To raise $25,000 to fully fund the printing and mailing of Fence #40 (June 2022) and Fence #41 (Dec 2022), led by Visiting Editor Edgar Garcia.
*To compensate Fence workers for their editorial labor; to pay Fence contributors for their poetry, prose, and other writing.
At each membership level listed below, you will receive a subscription to the magazine. At some levels, you will receive a copy of all books published as well as additional benefits. A generous donor has pledged $5000 in matching funds if we can raise an equivalent $5000 through memberships and donations, so please help us reach that number. Members will be recognized in our Membership Roll on this page and in the print issues; to remain anonymous, or with any questions about membership, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fence is a federally recognized, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; all donations are tax-deductible.
